into the hips of hundreds of cultures worldwide.The lineage that I embody, encompasses the powerful teachings of women breaking through religious prejudice to share joy, playfulness, trauma release, and self-expression through belly dance. This is more than just a dance; it's a sacred practice of releasing old stories that no longer serve.
Our bellies are the protectors of our vital organs, and our hips are the space holders for intergenerational and current trauma. The movement of our bellies, hips, and chest give us the tools to strengthen the bond with our bodies and to truly listen to what they need to be completely free.Though you may be learning belly dance techniques, only you can embody the true spirit of your dance.
